February 1 through May 31, 2026 - Department of Pennsylvania, Marine Corps League and Marine Corps League Auxiliary, Members, Member Spouses, Children and Grandchildren and children of U.S. Marines, FMF Corpsmen and FMF Navy Chaplains (serving with a Marine unit) who were killed in combat are eligible for a scholarship award. It is with great sadness to inform you that Duane H. "Bo" Pryor, a Detachment life member, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Piatt & Barnhill, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, Pennsylvania, with the Detachment Honor Guard performing its service at 7:00 p.m., muster at 6:30 p.m.  Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Piatt & Barnhill.  Interment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026 at 10:15 a.m.  Members are encouraged to attend.

Uniform of the day:  Red silk jacket, short-sleeved white shirt, dress blue trousers, web belt, black shoes and white gloves.  Officers may wear red blazer, long-sleeved white shirt, black tie and black trousers.  For those without uniforms, a MCL cover will do, but is optional.
